Lyrics

There’s the lion’s den
I paid cash to go in
A thousand bucks
To ride a truck out here
but the A/C’s broke I fear
The door’s ajar in this sauna car

Close the window, stay alive
Or the lion eats tonight
what dumbass rolled it down?
Lock them out, or your life will end
Learn how to defend

As I wrote to the show, usually my wife views listening to Tony the way most people think about visiting the monkey house at the zoo: It's fine once a year or so, if someone else is doing it, too; but it isn't long before you're driven out by the stink. So chalk this up to "making an effort to share interests".

I can't put a finger on this, but the fact that a woman is taking the Sheehan position of "someone died, let's bust their chops and have a laugh" is just so great! Thanks Leigh.

Great job Leigh! And this song is such a slice of the '70s. If you recall, this was a Boz Skaggs tune that Rita covered. She had the hit with it. But someone mashed up the two into a virtual duet which I remember streaming out of my AM radio. Hampton, this is a hint: get back in the studio and Bozzify it! ;-)
