Lyrics

Because jingles about the podcast delay and sales weasels are never not appropriate. Well, unless they actually do away with the delay.
*My apologies to John Welsh - I almost always check the site first to see if a song has been done but for some reason, I didn't with this song. It was only when I went to type in the original artist's name and Etta James automatically appeared that I realized this song must have already been done. Big props to John for coming up with this idea. I thought I did but you indeed beat me to it...almost a year ago! However, I already sent it to Nigel and since I spent the time on it, I decided to post it anyway.

Lyrics:
Podcast, when will you come along?
Been waitin' too long for ya.
Those weasels treat you wrong
Ohh yeah yeah, podcast!
Oh no they don't love you.
Hold you back 'til the next show's over.
Just leave those selfish fools.

A parody of "At Last" by the great Etta James.

Very nice. I shoulda known you'd be great at pulling off a vocal like this. I had an idea a while back to do a version of "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" (Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald) about Doug Marone... "You say Marone, I say Moron" etc. You'd have been great doing Ella. Never enough time, too many jingles.
