Lyrics

On my way to work I was listening to Into The Mystic and this song came to me. I would like to state for the record that I think WNBA athletes are world class, and I'm not exactly sure how Satch began the meat slicing thing. Just in case this gets out into the world, I am mocking Kornheiser with this song.

Gonna have a picnic on Memorial Day
Just like the one I had in early May
Bought a deli platter down at the Refugee Safeway
Pretty sure I saw one of the Washington Mystics

This girl was sneaky short
Arranging a crudite and cutting an almond torte
But when she grabbed that capicola I did exhort
One of the Washington Mystics

But soon after that the season began
She was replaced by some irascible older guy
And he's just mailing it in
There's no uniformity in this loaf meat
I'm a vegetarian

And I don't exactly know what pastrami is
But I remember when she sliced that boiled ham so very thin
Maybe I'll go down to the Verizon Center, inquire within
And see if they can fix it

Nice - it made me think it was from the Peyton Manning commerical where he chants it, so well done.

by clip I'm assuming you mean "cut that meat" which I recorded on 4 tracks and panned at 10, 11, 1, and 2 o'clock. the lisping just sounds distracting to me. too much on the high end.

I like the "sneaky short - almond torte" rhyme. Inserting the clip was great too. BTW - This sounds fine to me, not sure if you already remastered it or not.
