Lyrics

This afternoon I saw that on this day in 1958 "Johnny B Goode" first charted in the US, so I took a few minutes and came up with this acoustic guitar "tribute." With David Aldridge working the NBA playoffs for what will feel like the next 7 months, he probably won't be in the studio much to correct Tony.

Well, out of American University
There is a man named David who works for TNT
I see him on the TV every now and then
And every time my first thought is "I KNOW him!"
He doesn't laugh at jingles far as I can tell
But he can correct Tony oh so very well

Oh no..
No, Tony... No.
Tony be good!

Good DA imitation - only missing the sycophantic/dismissive laugher (who can tell?) to really drive things home.

Haste is working for ya!! All around wonderful (I'm sure Aldridge will laugh).

A less lazy person would have located appropriate audio clips to make this better... maybe that'll be me at some point.
