Lyrics

Inspired by the classic TK interview with Buster Olney on the 7/23/18 pod. I love baseball but I loved this segment even more!

Lyrics:
Well, come and listen to our segment with a talking head.
A baseball buff, well at least that’s what they said.
And then outta nowhere Tony asks about his youth.
And the next thing you know they’re talkin’ cows that go moo!

Well, did you know that cows have different personalities?
And the higher the butterfat count the better the ice cream.
And even for the milk, it’s the Jerseys you should get!
Yet Tone asks which ones are the ones that he can pet.

Now, remember what I said 'bout cows’ personalities?
Just ask Buster's brother ‘bout Paula The Jersey.
He learned his lesson one day while out with the herd.
When she treated him to a face full of manure!

So, it turns out he’s a dairy farm extraordinaire.
And everyone asks “Why didn’t you get away from there?”
Well Buster left the farm for a life in the MLB.
But this show stinks - we want more Farmer Olney!

*A parody based on The Ballad of Jed Clampett/The Beverly Hillbillies Theme Song by Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs

I kinda want someone to take this and set it to "Money for Nothing," like Weird Al did in UHF.
