Lyrics

The lyrics for this ditty come from WIlbon and Tony discussing on PTI the High School Team running up the score 91-0 a few weeks back. It led to Mr. Tony recounting an intramural game from his youth. Basically Tony's Hewlett Elementary Basketball Team lost to Franklin 52-0 based on the play of a 5'10" 5th grader named Jo Jo Silverman. I am hoping that this tune might make the intro to Old Guy (dream big) and force a recounting of the story in more detail (especially because there is no mail bag connection at all!!!). Thanks to Jerry for the site and Brad for great vocals and lyrical tweaks!!!

The kids are sucking down orange slices
Man they should be in arts and crafts
The Mom in the van said
You've got to be fair
They never even gave us a chance

Satch you know it ain't easy
You know how Jo Jo can be
The way that he shoots it
With such a sense of urgency
