Lyrics

Well I was on vacation
spent my mornings on the sand
so I missed an entire week of the bald orange man
And when my trip was over
and it was time to go
I packed up my family and started Mr. Tony’s show

I drove home to Virginia
listening to Tony’s podcast
5 hours of Chris Cillizza holy crap

There were two great shows with Jeannie
but not enough Liz Clarke
and they recounted all the horrors of Natinals Park
Football picks from a monkey
and news about folks who’re dead
I heard Tony tell a story and Arch repeat the same story
about a golf ball to the head

While I drove back to Virginia
Listened to Tony for the whole drive
I drove back to Virginia and annoyed my wife

A parody of Bruce Springsteen, "The River"

I love the angle you took on this one. Great performance too, as always!

If you haven't lost your wife by now a five hour car ride listening to TK isn't going to do it

Great all around. Particularly the holy crap line. There's never enough Cillizza - getting hammered in jingles that is. Also, I'm glad no one robbed your house.
