Lyrics

3 or 4 idiots, dancing around, with a monotonous backbeat repeating over and over and over...

Tony's got mail and he's got notes
Pretty soon he'll read 'em for you folks
Maybe he's going deaf, maybe he's going blind
after all he is a really really old guy

MAILBAG!!!
I know you want it, the Littles want it, I know you want it
MAILBAG!!!
He's awfully crabby, he's old and nasty, and super cranky
MAILBAG!!!

A parody of Robin Thicke, "Blurred Lines"

It must have worked subliminally, cause I totally missed that voice when I first listened. Nice. You have my vote for jingle czar in the next election. Also, I should tell you my vote counts for nothing.

Also, there's a Cartman-esque voice during the fade-out so it makes sense you'd like this one

Yep, this never made the show. Woulda been a good one to play yesterday w/ all the OGR talk about the lawsuit. When I'm appointed official jingle czar of the show, problems like that will go away

This is great, and once again timely with the lawsuit. I missed this before, but did this really never air? I agree with everything you said about the song itself being terrible- even the beat ripped blatantly from Marvin Gaye.

This jingle was Michelle's suggestion because she finds the original so gross. After recording it, I have a new appreciation for just how awful the song actually is. I started out trying to learn all the parts and quickly realized THERE ARE NO PARTS, it's just 3 or 4 dudes shouting stuff out and following the IDENTICAL backbeat for 3 minutes. You literally can't make a mistake performing this song. Just shout some "hey heys" and ramble about whatever's on your mind and you have a solid gold, #1 hit (or jingle)!
