When I’m out walking, I think of odd things.
Since this quarantine.
Like I don’t believe in drive-thrus.
I like to walk in.
Got no time for pneumatic tubes!

I stop to let Chessie piddle and as my thumbs begin to twiddle.
And my thoughts drift to Covid-19.
Just as we are resuming
I feel a presence looming.
I scream “Don’t you dare walk up on me!”
