Lyrics

I walked with my dog
under the moon, in darkness....
Oh if I'd only seen
the black ice under me.......

Then I thought I would die....
as my boat shoes
point to the sky.....
I landed flat on my back,
then Chessie said, "Hey why'd you do that?"

Now I'm pre-Ingleside
not a big fan of winter...
yes I'm still quite cranky....
a broken rib can't stop me!

lyrics: Robert Szkolnicki, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
vocals: Joe Aro, Ellicott City, MD

Last comment by me. It did run a wee bit longer than 1m, but I'm glad that it got played. On air or not, it made me laugh.

Credit is to Joe. I came up with the lyrics while sitting in my car, warming it up, on a -50 temperature day in late January. I had just heard the song on the radio and I like the way the song soars which is always a great way to have fun with his story.
