Lyrics

First, my thanks to Jason for providing such a detailed roadmap of this segment with his earlier work. Although I did have to go back to flesh out some of the details and turns of phrase. Also, for his establishing the genre of the opening interpretive paragraph. Second, is it just me, or do Tony's accounts of flying have this same, non sequitur, random array, stream of consciousness delivery? Probably because his heart was going like mad and no he said no I won't NO!!.

This story’s legend, so here’s one more segment, for you that follow my flights
Millie leads me, no big shot treatment, through the security line
Jeannie Valentino was first to hear me start to lose my mind
Should get bumpy, so I’ll be grumpy, when we cross the Continental Divide

No I will not eat
Flying at 30,000 feet
Just the same, I still have human needs
This flight is so long, I’ll have to pee

Airplanes have such tiny bathrooms
Is that too obvious to say??
But one more pill and they might find me
Unresponsive on the plane

This is amazing, and I remember reading the genesis of this in a comment and laughing at the title. This is even better than I imagined. I'm also laughing so hard at that opening paragraph... Maybe one day I'll collect my overly wordy song intros into a book, and I hope you might be willing to contribute some sorta blurb about how great I am.

Great job Brad. Airplanes have such tiny bathrooms will be in my head forever when I hear this. You have not only ruined the song for me you have also ruined one of my favorite movies Almost Famous. A two-fer. Thanks.

Killer closing line - with Mr. Tony talking the end being near what better way to find him then OD'ed on anxiety pills on a commercial flight? That's ironic irony...

I also don't like to eat or drink when on the airplane. I can't relate to almost everything Tony discusses about his airplane rides. Except all the pre-game stuff. This is fabulous. Airplanes have such tiny bathrooms makes me giggle way too much.
