Lyrics

You know I’m often dining out, you’ll find me frequenting the Palm
But sometimes if I’m kicking back, I’ll live without the chicken parm

It’s rare but I might look to eat like ordinary people do
Where breakfast is served day or night from a 400-page menu

There in a plastic booth I thought I would try
Maybe some bacon on grilled cheese
A chicken salad on some whole wheat, or rye

And they can serve your omelet with hash browns or with home fries
When you’re done they offer 37 kinds of pie!

More than a diner! Please tell me what does that mean?
More than a diner! Someone explain that to me!

From the Brothers Gibb's, "More than a Woman"

The crazy selections you find on the menu at The Silver Diner makes it clear that it really is more than a diner. New agey/organic/local wrapped up in 1950s packaging. Or you can just get a burger or eggs (or both!).

I love this one. My guess for 'more than a diner' is... um... What is a regular restaurant?
