Going Down (Ft. John Neiswinger)
Lyrics
This idea is built mainly around Mr Tony saying 'the Wizards are going down... down like the Titanic.' I couldn't find an instrumental track for this song that I liked, so I got with John N and recorded one. It was fun to play, so we ended up doing basically the full song. We wrote the lyrics together, and he played some awesome piano and organ tracks.
They're going down
Down, down, down, down, down
They’re going down
Down, down, down, down, down
Just like the Titanic
"Iceberg" Wall at the helm
Yeah, they’ve let us down
Went over the rail for sure
They've hit the deck
Now they're rearranging chairs around the floor
You know the ship be sinkin'
And Whittman’s already at the shore
(Play on band, play on!)
They've gone down
Down to the ocean floor
What'd you expect?
Not like it hasn’t happened before
And if you're thinkin’ ‘bout the next year
Well, Durant's not laying on that floatin’ door
(Aww, but he still might be another Rose)
Parody of Going Down by Freddie King (Also used as the theme song for Eastbound and Down)
