Lyrics

They gave us what we wanted with the same day podcast, and yet the sales weasels are still to blame for something. Dedicated to the greatest fallback source of jingle material I've known. You were the well that I thought would never run dry...

Lyrics:

How do I say goodbye
To the material we've had
This goldmine for jingles
Comes to an end
I thought we'd have this stuff forever
Bu t the weasels took it away
And it's so hard to say goodbye
To the podcast delay

And I'll laugh at all these old jingles
But they'll make no sense to new people after today
It's so hard to say goodbye
To the podcast delay

And now that Mr Tony is free
I guess I really shouldn't complain
But it's so hard to say goodbye
To the podcast delay

Just listened for the first time. This is excellent. Sounds so natural like it was meant to be for your lyrics. Just a wonderful performance.

Very cool. I think this line of thinking fits the Mr Tony way. :)

Ha! I just posted a jingle I did as soon as I found out about the end of the delay. Guess you and I were thinking along the same lines! Nice job!

I love all the celebrations and tributes to the end of the podcast delay. I decided for my contribution that it would be appropriate to take a petty, selfish angle for what we'll now be missing out on... and of course lay blame. :D
