A parody of a song by Billy Joel.

Lyrics

She can kill with her picks
But she spoons with her thighs
She can make Tony blush with her casual sighs
And she only picks one game, so that’s what you see
I’ll hide her from my child
But I hear she’s a goddess to see.

She will tell who she loves
‘Tween the Colts and the Eagles
With a giggle and laugh
She makes the orange man feeble
Tony takes what she gives him as long as it’s free
Yeah, her record’s OK
But I hear she’s a goddess on screen.

Oh, she takes care of herself
She makes the picks when she wants
With reasons sublime
Oh, and she always gives out (ahem)
The…er…best Vegas spread
So we can make up our mind.

She’ll call into the show
With a crappy connection
While all the men listen
And hide their (*beep*)
We don’t hear all the best
And the worst that she sees
And the most she will do is
Pick winners for you
But she’s only the goddess to me

Fingers crossed this EVER makes it to air ;-)

here's what we do: Satch picks the song and writes the lyrics, John plays piano, Joe sings it. done and done. maybe get Courtney to giggle on it or something like that.

you got Courtney onto the message boards?!!! ****ing hell, man! good job by YOU. did Jerry score one of those comments for his Dexy's Midnight Runners track? I was working on a Courtney song last month but just couldn't get it up...on its feet, so to speak.

You mean you don't just lug around those keyboards and all the equipment you had at Kilroys? I guess sometimes you have to carry the piano if you want to play the piano.

Haha...especially because he came up to me at the event after I had done a song ON piano before he gave his speech and said "Really nice job!" - I emailed them to clarify, but I don't really blame him for not remember us plebes.

Also, it's still not clear to them that you play piano.

Wait till you hear the mailbag from today, where Elliot writes an email about having the "Doggie Pop" song stuck in his head and he mispronounces my name, even after he said it successfully about five times on Friday. It just makes me glad I made an ass out of myself when I met him at the event ;-). I contemplated saying "I'm the guy that did 'x' jingle," but I didn't - probably a good call ;-).

I got a good laugh at Tony listening to this one on the 11/6/15 show with absolutely ZERO recollection of how much he enjoyed it the first time thru 9 months earlier.

Thanks for the kind words! If I could make money doing music, I would, but I have to do science to support a wife and four kids ;-). I am in a band called Orphan Project that does original stuff, but our albums are more in the "pay lots of money to produce without making all of it back" realm of music (https://m.facebook.com/OrphanProject?refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FOrphanProject)
