Lyrics

"Morning Has Broken [Griffin Got Broken]"

Griffin got broken, in the first quarter
Aldridge had spoken, he guessed game seven
Praise for Kirk Cousins, he torched the Jaguars
Let’s all remember, Jacksonville stinks

Poor RG3’s sprawl, he tackled himself
Could be his downfall, he’s made of glass
Plays not like Sweetness, more like The Orchid
Who knows when we’ll see him throw his next pass?

Glad that I picked him for my first string QB in fantasy football this year. What a joke.

Thanks Brad, I have to say, Cat Stevens wrote of sweetness, so I just left the lyric there and implied the dear departed Payton. As a fan of the Washington football club, I'm in conflict. Jingles are better when there's bad news to mock. The toll on the team to have both bad news and a win is pretty high. But, I suppose, if push comes to shove (comes to self induced out of bounds injuries)....well....I'll seek airtime every time!

I'm especially fond of the tribute to Walter Payton herein. I think we can pencil Fitz in for the Monday jingles for a few weeks!

Nothing brings me more joy than dancing on the grave of yet another failed Redskins season. I dance a lot.
