Lyrics

(Finally posting this one that was featured on the Rubbish Bin)
(Based on (Henry V Act IV Scene iii - St. Crispin's Day speech by King Henry to his troops before the Battle of Agincourt)

People of the podcast, here these words!
This is the day we rise up and fight the podcast delay!
Look, look at these fellow littles ‘round you,
Rallied to this sacred ground
Through email, through fax, through note, and through tweet.
Now the time has come
To unsheathe our swords, channel our inner langur monkeys, and fight the suits!
And this day shall be called Kornheiser’s Day.
If we are marked to die, we littles are enough,
And if to live, the fewer the men, the greater the share of honor.
And he that outlives this day and comes safe home,
Will stand a tiptoe when this day is named,
And rouse at the name of Kornheiser.
He that shall see this day and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil,
Feast his neighbors and say,
Tomorrow is Kornheiser’s Day!
Then shall our names, familiar as household words,
Borzelli of Lebanon, Neil of Rockville, Shad the Poet, Joe Aro the Archer,
And all the littles be in their flowing cups, freshly remembered,
We few, we happy few, we band of little brothers.
And littles in podcast land now in bed,
Shall think themselves accursed that they were not here,
And hold their manhood cheap,
Whilst any speaks that fought with us upon Kornheiser’s Day!
