Although not mentioned by name, this was inspired by Brian Windhorst's story on how Ann Hornaday, through this show, affects his life. That was the start. Then expanded with the often quoted catchphrases that this show has embedded in our lives.

As soon as I heard the original song on Friday's Old Guy segment, I started the lyrics. That was about 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes the next day to finish the theme. Jerry somehow figured out what I was trying to do and came up with brilliant arrangement and performance.
