This is the first jingle I ever wrote. I recorded a version of it with different verse lyrics last year, but never sent it to the show. Since it was more of a send-off type song, I updated parts of the verses to mention Jingles Live last Saturday and submitted this version yesterday as my Summer break tribute.

On a rainy Summer evening, in Springfield of all places
Is where I met The Rambler, and he was sneaky gracious
We know he loves crushing, all the people that he really hates
But did you know he loves some things?
Number 1: never paying for drinks

He said,
"Littles I've made a life, out of yodeling on the TV
I used to do some writing, then Raju Narisetti'd me
Now if you don't mind me saying
And if you mind I'm saying it anyway
Don't you know who I am?!
Just listen to my advice:"

"You've got to know chimps turn into monkeys
That Uranus is always funny
That snow shovels are for cross country skiers and the Sheehan boys
You never call the show completed
Until I tell McManus to eat it
And if you hear that one Billy Joel song, you'll know for Summer we're done."

And now that it's Summer, he'll have time to buy more houses
Give the old owners big bags of cash, and 30 minutes to get out.
So shortly after "Do wear white", The Rambler he'll go quiet
But thanks to all his podcasts, we'll have information for life.
