Lyrics

Well you went to Springfield riding in your limousine
because Maureen, she said you should go
You had a free light beer in your hand
And you opened the show
And when you started on the radio
back in ‘92
Did you ever see it getting this far?
Hanging out with a 150 fans
in a really wet bar

And then you almost got a big shock, didn't you
You almost died among the crowd
You almost got electrocuted, didn't you
Sheehan would have laughed so loud
You said that you were coming, Friday
but the monsoon gave us all some doubt
Even though you weren’t invited, you made it
You didn’t blow us off, like David
Woah...

A parody of Billy Joel, "Big Shot"

I love the "limousine because Maureen" rhyme in the middle of the first line. There's probably some English major term for that, but all I know to call it is great. The whole thing is great!
