Lyrics

This is the full version of my parody of "Learning to Fly" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I sent Nigel this and a shortened version, figuring this was too long for air.

Worried to Fly

Well I started out, in my Jim Coleman car
From PTI, it's not too far
As the sun went down, over Capitol Hill
I sidled up to, the airport bar and grill

I'm worried to fly, to the Superbowl
Could have mechanical failure, pilot could lose control

If he does, guess my death was fated
Who checked to see, if the landing gear is deflated

I'm worried to fly, but I got Atavin
It's fifty-fifty, the plane will safely land

Jeanne's sure I'm trying, to avoid the plane
By making up, this new back pain
But my penis is measured, and my bags are checked
Johnny Blue's been drank, I hope we don't get wrecked

I'm worried to fly, there might be a storm
There could be a bird strike, is Captain Sully on board
I'm worried to fly, I'm worried to crash
I'm worried I'll die, and won't be back for more cash
I'm worried to fly, out to that desert sand
One pill to take off, and two more to land
